One of the first photos when we got Baltsar, an odd-eyed, white Norwegian Forest cat. He’s the most gentle and docile cat you’ll ever meet. Unfortunately I had to leave him behind when I moved abroad. He was living with my sister and her family until she fell ill and needed someone else to take care of him. He now lives with a great family in Norway and I got to visit him a few months ago. He’s still a gentle giant. More recent photos will show up here on the blog as it progresses. Photo taken April 28th, 2004 using a Nikon D100.

Another Norwegian Forest cat kitten. Her name is Constanse and she was just over 18 weeks old when the photo was taken. This photo can also be found in my DeviantART gallery with a different post processing technique and a tighter crop. Photo taken March 6th, 2004 using a Nikon D100.

Whoops, I may have lied. Here’s in fact another cat show photo, however not of a judge this time. This was a siamese kitten walking around the cage begging for a little attention. Those deep, blue eyes always amaze me. Not to worry, the owner wasn’t far away and she/he got plenty of attention. Photo taken April 4th, 2004 using a Nikon D100.

And the last of the cat show photos for now. This is Raymond Sæthre judging two different cats. It’s quite obvious who’s the winner, right? Photo taken April 4th, 2004 using a Nikon D100.
